A New Year, A Fresh Perspective | Does Your Home Reflect the Life Your Living Now? |
|
|
Hi Friends, Happy 2026! A new year is upon us, bringing with it a sense of anticipation and gratitude for a fresh beginning. After the busy holiday season of decorating, entertaining and gathering with loved ones, we often settle back and take a look around our homes. And sometimes, something feels… off.
|
Does your home reflect who you are now, or who you were 10 or even 20 years ago? When was the last time you updated areas of your home?
Our lives evolve, our routines change, and the way we use our home changes also. What once worked for us may no longer feel quite right.
If this sounds familiar, it may be time to pause and ask yourself a few questions:
- Do you use all the rooms in your home, or are there spaces you tend to avoid or not use to the full extent? Do you know why?
- Does your décor and color palette reflect your current style and the way you are living now, or does it feel dated?
- Do your rooms feel cluttered and overwhelming, or calm and inviting?
- Are you holding onto items that no longer serve the way you live today?
- Do your spaces support how you want to feel when you’re at home – relaxed, comfortable, and at ease?
Do you feel stuck and don’t know where to start? Sometimes getting a fresh set of eyes on your home can be the starting point for you and is all it takes to see new possibilities.
One of my favorite services to offer is my Design Kick Start. It’s a relaxed, working session designed to help you gain clarity, explore ideas and possibilities and create a plan that feels right for you. There’s no pressure. It is an idea generating session to help your home better reflect who you are today and how you live now.
Even small changes can make a big impact.
If you’re ready to get started, I’d love to help. Schedule your Design Kick Start and take the first step toward a home that truly supports you.
