The Pillsbury Castle
Terry was honored to be part of the 2025 ASIDMN Showcase House, partnering with NARIMN on the renowned Pillsbury Castle project. This 1903, 10,000-square-foot historic home was completely revitalized within an impressive nine-month timeline. Over 30 ASID designers and 8 NARI contractors collaborated to breathe new life into this architectural treasure. The result was nothing short of extraordinary.

The Lakeside Retreat
Working on this beautiful lake home was truly a joy. The clients had dreamed of building on this lakeside lot since receiving it as a wedding gift over 40 years ago. Their vision was a welcoming space to enjoy with their grown children and ever-growing family.
Terry joined the project just as construction began, focusing on durable, family-friendly finishes suitable for lake living. Performance fabrics were chosen throughout the home to withstand everyday use and the energy of young children. Each guest bedroom featured a unique theme, resulting in the charming “Shiplap Room,” “Map Room,” “Tree Room,” and “Bunk Room.”
The highlight was the custom-built bunk room, designed in collaboration with a local craftsperson, to comfortably accommodate seven guests with ample storage. The project was a delightful journey from start to finish, and the family is now creating cherished memories in their dream lake home.

Modern Bathroom Transformation
The goal for this project was to update a dated 1970s bathroom into a contemporary, eye-catching space. As the main floor and guest bathroom, the clients wanted a “wow” factor that would impress visitors. The result is a stunning transformation, blending modern aesthetics with functionality.

Twin Cities Bathroom
I was introduced to this homeowner who was finally ready to tackle a long-desired remodel of three bathrooms. Working together, we finalized every detail—from tile and fixtures to finishes—so her contractor bids would be precise and consistent. When the project wrapped, I asked which design element she loved most. Her response was the best compliment: “I can’t decide. I love it all.”

Lakes Condo
When these clients decided to downsize from a spacious 3,000+ square-foot home to a 1,000 square-foot condo, the move happened swiftly. With less than two months before they headed south for the winter, our goal was clear: determine which cherished furniture pieces to keep, identify what new items were needed, and finalize all design selections. Collaborating with a trusted contractor they had used previously, we worked diligently to ensure the project stayed on schedule. In the end, their new condo felt both curated and comfortable, perfectly suited to their streamlined lifestyle.

Edina Kitchen
A trusted contractor I’ve partnered with before invited me to refresh this kitchen. The homeowners were happy with the layout but felt ready to move away from the Tuscan style to something lighter and brighter. Our initial plan was to start in May 2020, but after meeting in late December 2019 to discuss their vision, I got to work selecting backsplash tile, Cambria countertops, paint for both cabinets and walls, lighting, and fabric for window treatments and upholstery.
In mid-January, the contractor called to say they could begin in February instead. That shift launched our project into high gear, but once I discovered the perfect fabric for the new Roman shades, everything else fell into place. The clients loved the first option I presented, and the remodel finished just before the COVID-19 lockdown began—ideal timing, as both homeowners soon had to work from home. Had the project stayed with the original schedule, construction would have overlapped with the shutdown. Instead, they now enjoy a beautifully updated kitchen that aligns perfectly with their lifestyle.
